This was an exciting project for our team at Skillet Creative. We’ve been enjoying the delicious cheese produced by Spring Brook Farm for several years but often felt that it was a bit confusing for customers how they positioned their brand—as a subset of the foundation, Farms for City Kids. Apparently, they were feeling the same thing and felt that it was time to separate the two brands and let Spring Brook Farm Cheese have its moment in the spotlight.

Working closely with our clients to understand their mission, objectives, competitors, and target consumers, we developed a new identity that incorporates the uniqueness of their farm and connection to the larger non-profit organization from which they originated. Our incredibly talented and award-winning illustrator and graphic designer, Kelsey, drew custom line artwork that tied it all other paired with a more modern but approachable font. Once the logo was finalized, we moved onto updating labels, marketing materials including sell sheets, postcards, tent cards for table displays and their trade show booth materials. A new website was also developed using Squarespace with updated images, refreshed and SEO-focused copy and content such as recipes to keep users coming back for more. Look for their updated labels and incredible cheese all across the country in your favorite cheese shop.
